After completing restoration on their home system, 20 Sam Houston EC employees headed out Sunday and Monday to help restore service at Deep East Texas EC and Jasper-Newton EC. Cooperative contractors were also able to assist these systems.

Sam Houston EC is preparing for the winter storm and we encourage our members to do the same.
For the safety of our members and employees, our office lobbies will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21. As always, crews will be on call to respond to any power outages.

After 5 days of power restoration work following Hurricane Beryl, Sam Houston EC line technicians, contractors and vegetation crews have fewer than 1,500 meters to restore of the original 81,500 meters left without service following the storm.
