The first play I wrote for my PhD portfolio was about a huge discovery of witch marks in my local cave system back home, now I’m about to enter the final year of my PhD and there’s been a new discovery of witch marks in the same place I’m actually doing said PhD! Magic ✨

We've been bewitched by new finds at Gainsborough Old Hall 🧙‍♀️

Around 20 ‘witches' marks’, traditionally made to protect buildings and those inside against demons, witches or the evil eye, have been discovered by one of our volunteers, Rick, at the hall.
