Once again I am leaving the Munich Security Conference in a low mood. Amongst all the noise, the US signalled their plans for Europe, so things are becoming clearer. But things are clearly not good.
This is what we now know, and what we now have to do about it:🧵1/17
@BernardKeane Really disappointed in this sensationalist article. Weird take, blaming Australians, working to deliver capabilities that defend our nation, with the deaths of people overseas… a very uniformed journalist
@shotski0 @NeuroCandies @davidgmandel Note you fear being robbed, beaten raped, shot or stabbed by men… not women. So conversely other men fear you doing that to them… is that true?
@ask_aubry Would love to reply, ‘so awesome to meet a guy who’s willing to sign a prenup. My ex refused to and expected half of my realestate portfolio and trust when we split’ 😜
@ClyveRose@GracielaGacek@ask_aubry Yep, he’s just limited himself to women who earn less than him… though maybe that’s part of the plan, suspect he’d feel emasculated with a woman who earnt more
@Boristourguide@MikeCarlton01 You need to read Guns, Germs and Steel. There’s reasons why… namely they didn’t have access to beasts of burden such as horses or oxen. Though their culture and people survived long enough to show their way of life was just as successful.
@webb6610 @devonlass@TERFBunker@JoolzDenby@IDD64 Why would you think a punch but a man during sex is inconceivable, when men have literally strangled women to death for the same thrill? https://t.co/nKwIJXko04
@OuseEmpire @RitchieWild@SamanthaTaghoy Nope, sounds very much like the culture between senior and junior cadets in military academies around the world…. common denominator = men in positions of power
@GrogsGamut Australia’s north has been attacked before. Darwin and Broome have been bombed, at a time when aircraft and bombs had far less range than they do now. And to be be sweetly naive that you don’t realise we’re already at war in the cyber space…
