Students in our Improv Club practiced fun exercises and strengthened their acting skills in a workshop the Trent Improv Team! The benefits of practicing improv go far beyond having fun. This style of acting helps students build their confidence and improve their listening skills.

Ms. King's Grade 10 History class stepped into the roaring 20s yesterday through a murder mystery game designed to help them more about life in the 1920s. We love how our teachers bring creative ideas to the classroom that bring learning to life!

First two snowboarding races of @CISOntario March Madness in the books! Our @LakefieldCS athletes gave it there all and came out with some top finishes in U16 and U20. We are so excited for next week!
So happy we have been able to get out to Mount St. Louis and train as a snowboarding team this year. Two more weeks to our first competition! @LakefieldCS
Yesterday, our Grade 10 students joined us in the 4th year of our involvement with the Lakefield Santa Claus parade! Students danced, sung, and enjoyed our first big snowfall of the year while sharing their holiday spirit and connecting with our local community.

Ms. King’s Grade 10 History class had an immersive experience as they participated in a trench simulation. Divided into two countries, the class sieged war against each other with paper ammunition and learned about the dire consequences faced by soldiers during WWI and WWII.
Had so much fun playing on team staff in Friday night lights last weekend against our 1st soccer team! Let’s not talk about the score though 😆⚽️ @LakefieldCS
Gr. 10 History is almost done their archives research project! Our class this module is focusing on the chapel and it’s continuity and change throughout LCS’s history ⛪️ @LakefieldCS
Halloweek Day 2 is coming to a close and we are impressed by the costume selections for today's theme: Heroes vs. Villains! From witches and zombies to superheroes and even Ms. King (we agree, she is a hero!), it was fun to see what unique costume ideas our students had planned!
