I am NOT afraid to admit I celebrated those two Haaland goals tonight more than Kane’s two goals the other night.
Yes I’m being serious. I am nowhere near invested in England as much as my love for City and City players.
Club > Country.
After six unforgettable years, the time has come to say goodbye. Manchester City has been so much more than just a football club to me, it has been my home.
Together, we’ve shared incredible moments and won 12 trophies, creating memories that will stay with me forever. But beyond the success on the pitch, it’s the moments in my personal life that have made this city so special.
I lost my dad here, one of the hardest moments of my life. I got married while playing for this club, and we’ve been blessed with two beautiful children during our time here. Manchester will always hold a special place in my heart because so much of my life has happened here.
To all my teammates over the years the manager and the staff, thank you for every moment we shared and every memory we made. We’ve made history together that will never be forgotten! thank you for taking care of me and my family and for making us feel at home from day one.
And to the fans thank you. Thank you for your incredible support through the highest highs and the toughest lows. I will always be grateful for the way you embraced me and my family.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a place that has given you so much, but I leave with nothing but gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime.
Manchester will always feel like home.
Thank you for everything. 🩵

Ten years. 20 trophies. One Pep Guardiola 🩵
Pep 💬 There is one sentence that comes to my memory, when I was speaking with Noel Gallagher one day, two years ago. [He said] we were a team that was not able to win four games in a row, now we are going for four Premier Leagues in a row. I said wow, that is a good sentence!

I knew this day was coming and it was one I truly dreaded for some time.
We spent £47.5 million on John Stones in 2016, breaking the British transfer record for a defender and making him the world's second-most expensive defender at the time.
His early tenure was filled with promise but marred by inconsistency, never quite able to stay fit or maintain form. So much so that in the summer of 2020, rumors of his departure began to circulate.
The remontada that would follow defied all expectations. A legacy-defining turnaround that took him from borderline zero to undeniable hero, firmly entrenching him in the annals of history as one of our greatest, most treasured players ever.
Some may say his injuries prevented us from seeing his true best. A "what could have been."
On the ball or putting his body on the line, John truly gave us his all. We will never forget the Champions League final. The title-saving block against Liverpool. The clutch goals, the imperious partnership with Dias, the silky ability and elegance that made so many re-think what a "ball-playing CB" entails. The resilience to fight back from injury time and time again.
The way that I see it, in that sense, there is no mystery for me.
19 trophies (and counting?), a City legacy like none other, unquestionable commitment, and ability that regularly left us all in wonderment.
Thank you John Stones, a bonafide City legend.
