The Jewish state is on the frontlines of fighting the battle against evil. They are quite literally the foremost barrier shielding the Western world from darkness. We can never thank you enough Israel. 🇮🇱🩵
“She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” -Matthew 1:22
I can’t comprehend His mercy. There is no sweeter joy than to know Him.
Merry Christmas everyone!
So normally I'm posting #Appellatejobs for other people, but not today. Because Wright, Close & Barger LLP has at least one opening. We're looking for people who want to practice appellate law here in Houston that have 1-4 years of experience as a lawyer.
Resumes to me!
Can’t stress this enough. I made somewhat of a career shift and joined FERC Office of Administrative Litigation (OAL) last spring and it was the best career decision I’ve ever made.
Some think FERC is a sleepy agency but it's at the forefront of some of the trickiest energy, land-use, and environmental issues out there. The Rehearings Section is the last stop before the Court of Appeals. A terrific job.

Officially all packed up in Houston and headed to Washington, D.C. to begin my new job as a Trial Attorney @FERC. My wife and I will be traversing the country over the next 3 days. Bittersweet, but excited for the future! Can’t wait to get there.
Came across this poem today from Michelangelo. One of the last poems he wrote before he died. Even the greatest works of art will not satisfy your soul.
#michelangelo : Poem 285 (1554) / Rondanini Pieta (1552-64)
“neither painting nor sculpture will be able any longer
to calm my soul, now turned toward that divine love
that opened his arms on the cross to take us in. “

Some personal news- I’m excited to share that I am moving to Washington, D.C. to begin a new role as Trial Attorney for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). While I’m sad to leave Houston, I’m really excited for this new chapter. DC folks- I’d love to get connected!
