This was a great project to work on for my MSc. Interesting blend of remote sensing and long-term field data to help better understand the complex interactions taking place in these northern ecosystems.
The @queens_outdoor team has made all of this possible. From the lending library, to the events, the grants, partnerships, treasury, social media, everyone that is part of this team is amazing!

I look forward to more opportunities to build and improve our resources as we work towards breaking down the financial, knowledge, and sociocultural barriers to outdoor research, education, and participation! 🥾🌲🧪💧
I’m incredibly thankful to our team and community members who have done so much to make QOFEI possible. Our current and past team have all helped in QOFEI’s success. We hope that others will be able to start similar programs to help us break down barriers to the outdoors!
QOFEI in the news! Check out this @CBCNews article highlighting the work that we've done to make fieldwork more accessible for the Queen's community!

We’ve seen great support from many community members in Kingston including the @QueensUBio community and our local rotary club! Our partnerships with community and other organizations have helped support so many students who have used our resources!
🐸 New paper alert! 🐸
