@mugaa_eric And Waziri @mugaa_eric I don't really think the main problem we have in water is a tariff problem, the biggest problem with water utility companies is non revenue water. I would be glad to know what your ministry is doing in terms of driving policy to address this problem.
@mugaa_eric There is a very thin line between water being a free resource in that it is a natural resource and a basic human need, and water being an economic resource due to developments that it requires to make it palatable. And now this is where the gov't comes in, to serve public good
@Mall_oy@_fels1 I used that route last week from Embu to Nairobi at around 4pm and the driver was telling me he was on his return journey, he says his daily routine is leaving Nairobi at 6:30am and he should be in Nairobi at 6:30PM every day.
@ericwarutere@ericwarutere I know you know there is a well established heirachy of factors that control design the type notwithstanding: 1. Functionality 2. Safety 3. Budget(Economy) 4. Environmental and social aspects 5. Aesthetics etc. Economy is the most controlling factor.
@_shakenya is a trash! Tell me why am visiting Mbagathi Hospital and am told SHA is only covering civil servants? Then why is everyone else paying for this scam? @HonAdenDuale@mercymwangangi2@itumbi
@cenas_j The ability to translate technical concepts into clear, commercially relevant language is critical. Was in a negotiation meeting, a design lead with a PhD in Engineering struggled to align technical explanations with the commercial context—limiting their impact on decision-making
