Xabi Alonso by far the best communicator we have had since Blueco came in. Can tell instantly miles ahead of Potter, Poch, Maresca and Rosenior. Both in terms of how clear he is (great English) and how he thinks.

The positives he has is he was such a great reader of the game as a midfielder. When he played he was immense in his decisions. Playing under Mourinho, Ancelotti, Pep, Rafa and Del Bosque is a mad list to learn from too. You literally can't ask for a better foundation as a player going into management.

The doubt is how Blueco will treat him. Will they support him and give him all he needs or will he be another victim?
