True sustainability is not a defensive posture; it’s a creative renaissance. While it’s true that our continent bears the brunt of the triple planetary crisis bearing the scars of rapid climate disruption, energy deficits, and shifting pollution patterns is only half the story.

@Ellel1 That hat is deeply rooted in Bantu history. Though often associated with former President Mobutu, who popularized it, its origins date back much further. It is an ancestral symbol of authority; in many Bantu kingdoms, leopard skin was traditionally reserved for great leaders and warriors. It represents more than just style it symbolizes power, wisdom, resilience, and unity
The Great African Paradox:
Rhetoric: "A borderless, united continent."
Reality: Lynching, xenophobia and discrimination against our own brothers and sisters (I’m not going to mention the country).
The African Union has become a system watching this hypocrisy unfold in silence. We cannot be a "solution" to the world until we solve the hate within. Make it make sense. What is wrong with us?
23,326 trees. 24 hours. One world record. Congratulations, Hillary Kiplagat Kibiwott, on this extraordinary achievement in Elgeyo Marakwet. You are architecting the future of a beautiful landscapes through decisive action.
When fuel prices skyrockets in a global market, a family in Lilongwe, Nairobi, Harare, Dakar or Kinshasa pays for it at the bakery. This is the brutal structural weakness of fossil fuels.
Decoupling energy from conflict is the only way to stabilize the cost of living. A localized, green energy mix creates a wall between global chaos and local survival. Africa’s future must be powered by Africa’s wind and sun.

The Global South cannot afford to be a spectator in a fossil-fueled chess match. Green energy isn't just a "climate goal" it’s an economic survival strategy. #Renewables
Fossil fuel price spikes aren’t a market "glitch" they’re a structural liability. Relying on volatile global commodities is a gamble game we can’t afford. The only true hedge against energy inflation is decentralized, renewable power.
You can’t tax the wind, and you can’t hike the price of the Sun.
The current energy crisis is a wake-up call: Energy security is International security. #EnergySecurity #Renewables
The DRC is equally a climate nation. The Congo Basin Forestsystem is often described as the planet’s second great tropical lung and spans nearly 2 million square kilometres across the Basin, with the DRC carrying the largest share.
