@femboyfirearms The reason for that is that nobody will buy it. Repros are very cool and everyone gets hype for them, but the reality is the number of people who are hype enough to actually buy it is very small. Many repro projects in the past have failed because they did not do a limited run
@fri_skytt Advancements in projectile and rifling technology made the Dreyse’s ballistic performance woefully inadequate by the 1850s. Wars aren’t decided by small arms, and as such Prussia’s military doctrine helped them overcome the disadvantages of the Dreyse
@Oelmann666@fri_skytt It really didn’t revolutionize military tactics at the time. The Dreyse was adopted in the 1840s and nobody else in Europe adopted a breechloader on a large scale for 20 years. Every army in Europe was much more interested in rifled muskets that could perform well at distance
@ampedspring@JamesRaxz I’m not so sure they are different. The US targeted civilian populations throughout the Cold War, and the latest strikes on Venezuelan boats demonstrate a pattern
I want to put a #MarvelRivals take out there because it’s been driving me crazy lately. I’m a tank main, but since nobody else is, I don’t get to play the whole tank roster. It’s Magneto or Strange every game because I’m solo tanking. It’s a little frustrating
