Not every day do you wake up to this – honoured to be named to 2020 #Time100 from @TIME. This has been a tumultuous year for all of us – challenging, humbling, and forcing us all to reflect. Why am I there?
2015‐ 5 years into working with @TonyOElumelu to establish @Heirs_Holdings & @TonyElumeluFDN I had the opportunity to share Mr Elumelu’s vision for these organisations at @UniofOxford along with my projections for Africa in 2020

The new testament gives us the clearest image of God. This is seen in Jesus Christ. Everything that Christ is in personality is everything that God has always been. He does not kill, maim, pronounce evil etc. Rather he saves and he saves completely.
The elephant is a pipe said the one who touched the trunk. On and on they went.
In many ways this is exactly how the old testament prophets saw God. They did not have a complete description and ascribed many things to God that were not true testament of his personality.
I remember the story of the blind men who were told to describe the elephant. They touched different parts of the animal and their descriptions went like this - the elephant is a fan said the one who touched the ear, the elephant is a pillar said the one who touched the legs

As a Christian, I’ve heard it all from nonbelievers…
“You just believe what your parents told you.”
“You must not know any science.”
“Your faith hasn't been tested.”
Well…
I was raised atheist.
I have a PhD in science.
I’ve lost a child and had cancer.
I’m still a believer.

Professionals must make a conscious effort to take the lead in the appeal for a business-friendly environment’.

Is it not incredible that we are pushed to the gutters but are never left helpless? that the light finds us even in the farthest, darkest corners? that we have these treasures, incorruptible and undefeatable; so that, even when life claws and mocks, we can still say: We win!
The Africa Prudential farewell dinner last night was a positive affirmation of the solid foundation set by my predecessor, @peter_ashade. I look forward to building on this legacy as we continue to deliver #AfricaPrudential to the future with the support of everyone.
