I still plan on keeping my 🐦 acct since there are still some people that I want to keep following who aren't where the skies are blue.
However, I will probably engage less here as my social media energy has shifted toward 🦋🟦☁️.
I hope you'll find me there:

We don't appreciate how relevant it is that God abhors & detests dishonest scales and unjust weights.
What he hates is injustice, dishonesty, and the exploitation of others.
These texts are not simply about honest trade in a market.
Let the reader understand.⚖️
ICE is keeping high schoolers, pregnant women, and people with illnesses in inhumane conditions for one reason: because they want to.
The cruelty of places like Delaney Hall is intentional, and we will do everything in our power to shut it down.
In Lev 19 we see that the greatest commandment to love others is inextricably tied to justice.
One of the most damaging aspects of American Evangelicalism is that justice was stripped away from the root ideal of love for neighbors.
History explains this tragic arc.
@BethMooreLPM I deeply appreciate not only your perspectives and wisdom, I am so touched by the grace you show towards many who did you harm.
Thank you for the way you continue to care for women in the SBC.
@Kaneh7890 I understand it, that Valley View area would be pretty profitable if it's developed well. But I feel bad that they won't be downtown. Dallas will soon have no major franchises in the downtown area. I love cities where stadiums and arenas are connected to skylines.
When we teach about the Bible's gleaning laws, we tend to speak to people about being generous landowners leaving a lot for gleaners.
These passages are also for gleaners.
The Lord loves you & wants you to be part of communities with abundant fields full of divine provision.🌾
On this day in 1921, The Tulsa Race Massacre happened in the affluent black community of Greenwood in Tulsa (Black Wall Street)
White supremacists killed more than 300 Black Americans and looted & burned to ground homes & businesses.
History of Tulsa before the riot
A THREAD
Sunday marks the 105-year commemoration of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The events of that day in Tulsa, Oklahoma, still reverberate throughout a community seeking justice. https://t.co/Nrkz07Ub2F
🚨 DAMN.
Ruby Bridges said the moment she finally understood what was happening during school integration was when a little white boy told her:
“My mom said I can’t play with you because you’re a nigger.”
She was SIX.
And she said hearing that felt like “a huge weight lifted,” because suddenly everything made sense.
Why the classrooms were empty.
Why adults were screaming.
Why U.S. Marshals had to escort her to school.
Not because of anything she did.
Just because of the color of her skin.
A six-year-old child realizing an entire country was angry at her for existing.
Modern evangelicalism seeks to "build the kingdom," but Scripture doesn't speak of this. Jesus' Kingdom is good & it is coming, it needs no "building."
The actual call for Christians is to manifest the Kingdom's goodness & Jesus' loving way in the present age. #light#salt 🕯️♥️

Hot take? Let's just take "leader" out of "servant leader" since leadership is an administrative function in Christian community, not a position, title, or office.
Those who are called to ministry would be better off cultivating an identity rooted in servanthood.
