I think people underestimate how much stress comes from trying to have an opinion on every move. If you just zoom out and identify whether the market is trending up, down, or going sideways, most of the decisions are already made for you.
Trending up, you stay long until the evidence changes. Trending down and you're in cash or short. Sideways and you do as little as possible.
You don't need to interpret every headline or have a complicated thesis for everything. Identify the trend, and act accordingly. That simplicity is boring but its an edge.
If you want to hold anything longer than a few weeks you have to accept roughly half the days will be red. This is why I focus on structure over daily fluctuations. As long as the structure is intact I dont care if its up or down day to day.
My biggest breakthrough wasn’t learning anything new. It was realizing I already knew enough I was just sabotaging myself with unnecessary stuff. I was doing too much and adding complexity when I just had to do less.
@Ashcryptoreal We're gonna win so much, you may even get tired of winning. And you'll say, 'Please, please. It's too much winning. We can't take it anymore'.
Lesson 2: Complexity kills consistency
The best systems are brutally simple.
A few rules. A few setups. A few stocks.
Overbuild your process and you’ll freeze when it matters most.
