Attn wheelchair users: I'm excited to announce a new upgrade! Your wheelchair now comes equipped with a turbo potato button. Just push it and the obstacles to a good life, like Mark Latham and dog poops, in your way (is there a difference?) will instantly turn into a potato.
We are so excited to be launching our Learning Team tonight!
Here's a sneak preview of our promo video. https://t.co/lIk7A6ITwK Shhh....

Can our SA-based colleagues please share this and encourage young people with disability from migrant and refugee backgrounds to consider being involved in our study?
They have an important and little-heard perspective to share...

@SeanFewster Disgustingly not surprised. One Adelaide judge had to take extended leave with a broken leg, simply due to inaccessibility. #NotGoodEnough
The fact killer carer Rosa Maria Maione is about to be sentenced, for the manslaughter of Annie Smith, in a court room that is wheelchair inaccessible says a lot about the circumstances and context of this case. #auslaw#truecrime
@ianbfarquhar@CraigHill01@KirrinaBarry I'd love to see evidence of this so we can fight it if needed, because I suspect this is incorrect information and that no-one has ever had to repay an approved funded support/service from an NDIS Plan.
@CraigHill01 I suspect this is a major misunderstanding. NDIS does not and has not garnished DSP ever, nor made folk repay approved claims. I'm sure you'll get it sorted Craig. All the best. #auspol
I think what this outbreak has taught me, more than anything, is how poorly educated a huge proportion of Australians are.
We really need to spend more on maths education, because so many simply do not understand very basic maths concepts like the one illustrated here. #Covid_19
3. We need to urgently bump up the home vax and testing programs for our most medically vulnerable Australians with disability. We can't get testing or vaccinations at individual homes for homebound for love nor money.

1. We need a priority, protected testing unit/time for pre-op covid testing. Bloody outrageous that people needing urgent surgeries need to line up with symptomatic and close contacts.
