A big problem Los Angeles faces:

Our rental market is reasonably affordable right now (notwithstanding what you hear in the media).

However, bc starter homes are so expensive, upwardly mobile young people without family money, who almost universally want to be home-owners, quite sensibly move away or never come here in the first place.

A Los Angeles chain built one menu where your zip code sets the price of lunch.

Everytable prices the same healthy bowl differently based on the income around each store.

Locations in higher income areas intentionally charge more to subsidize the lower prices nearby.

The model was built to bring real meals into neighborhoods used to fast food and empty shelves.
