🚨🗣️ | Jurgen Klopp heaps praises on Arsenal Fans for how they reacted towards Gabriel after the penalty miss in the UEFA Champions League Final:
“I have to say something about this because, wow. Just... wow.
after the final, I am opening my phone, yeah? I look at Instagram, Facebook, Twitter whatever you call it and for years, all you see from the media is, 'Oh, Arsenal fans are insufferable. Arsenal fans are the most annoying, they are the worst in the world.' They give them this tag, this massive negative label. And you start to think, okay, maybe they are a bit intense.
But then, I see what happened after the Champions League final.
Gabriel misses the penalty. A massive, massive moment. A trophy the club has been dying to win for decades. Normally, in modern football? It is a disaster for the player. Normal reaction from fans today is anger, threats, terrible abuse on social media. It’s ugly. It is the side of football I hate.
But what do the Arsenal fans do? They do the complete opposite. They shower the boy with love! I heard his shirt sales went up by 350% in twenty-four hours because the fans are just buying his jersey to say, 'We are with you.'
Are you kidding me? I have been in football for a very long time, and I have never seen anything like this before. Never. To show that level of class, that level of unconditional love when your heart is completely broken? It gave me goosebumps.
It shows me that everything people say online about Arsenal fans... it’s a total misconception. They have been judged so, so harshly. If a fanbase can react to a heartbreak like that by wrapping their arms around a player instead of tearing him down, then let me tell you they are nothing like what the media says. They are not insufferable. They are special. It’s beautiful, absolutely beautiful”
I honestly just don’t enjoy watching football anymore, the game has absolutely gone. If it carries on like this, I’ll be tapping out over the next few years, such a shame.
David Moyes "I am ashamed to say this is the best league in the world when it favors Liverpool every single week. I haven’t seen a single game they’ve won fairly and deservedly this season"
Scott Parker on VAR:
"Football is going to become the most sterile game there is. We're probably months or a year away from not celebrating goals. I stand on the touchline, you score a goal and I feel like there's a million things that go through your mind."
This 101-year-old war veteran said on the 80th VE Day that "things are different" and "this is not the country I fought for."
Bless him, he's right. It's shameful that these people sacrificed themselves for our country and us, for what? 😢
One of the great nights of Arsenal's recent history. Surely their greatest ever victory at the Emirates Stadium. Arteta took over a team that was hobbling through the Europa League group stages. Now they have just spanked Real Madrid.
-Tottenham dropped from 5th to 13th
-United 8th to 14th
-West Ham 9th to 15th
-Man City 1st to 4th
-Villa 4th to 10th

However Arsenal have gone from 2nd to 2nd to 2nd that are the biggest “bottle jobs”and we should “sack the manager”

Where does this craziness come from?

No Haaland for City last game. No Isak for Newcastle this game.
Liverpool will get to the Champions League final and Vini, Mbappe and Rodrygo will all immediately pull a hamstring.
Truth about the halftime show:
• 75% of Super Bowl viewers have no idea what he said except for "a minooor" and "turn the TV off" — I feel dumb for watching it
• Flopping fish are more animated
• I appreciate that Kendrick kept it from being totally inappropriate like other years
• Only generational stars where the majority of the country knows 4-5 of their songs should be invited to play the halftime show (that’s not Kendrick)
• Was nice to see American flags on stage 👍
• Was more karaoke than Super Bowl performance
• Imagine all the grandpas trying to watch it — I bet their commentary was hilarious 😂
Listen to this… 😮
Do you understand how bad a decision needs to be for Pat Nevin, Mark Chapman and Alan Sheerer to all agree that ARSENAL have been unfairly treated… 😯
INSANE decision!
Absolutely heartbreaking scene at table next to me in the pub right now. Mother and father, probably early 30s and their son, about 5. Son: “mummy, look at this. Mummy look at this”. Mummy hasn’t looked up once from watching TikTok. Earphones in. No acknowledgment at all for past 30 minutes. Father looks up from phone occasionally. A totally typical scene played out across the country.
