@masonmediaugc I LOVE creating food content. I've even grown my own TikTok to 30k followers by posting in this category.
I'm based in NYC 🙂

Would love to discuss further!
One thing that's not talked about enough in UGC - Vulnerability.
Talking about your insecurities to potentially millions of people. Sharing the not-so-pretty parts of your life, or showing a real before-and-after transformation that your audience can relate to.
That's part of what makes UGC so effective but it can be REALLY intimidating.
When I first started, I wasn't prepared for that side of the job. I constantly found myself deciding between turning down projects because they felt too personal or accepting them because I didn't want to lose the work.
Over time, I've become much more comfortable talking about things like skin concerns, confidence, and other personal experiences on camera.
But learning where your boundaries are and what you're willing to share publicly is a skill every creator has to develop!
I wish I knew that when I was first starting out.

Secured a $750 deal on Fiverr today for a single UGC video 🙌
Three years ago, I started my account charging $50 per video.
Now, 1,000+ orders later, deals like this are coming in on a random Wednesday!
Fiverr definitely isn't a platform where you can just throw up a profile and hope for the best. It takes a lot of work to optimize your profile, build reviews, and even take projects below your ideal rate early on...
But once you build credibility, it can become an incredible additional source of income!

Haha I don't think it's you, I genuinely think the platform can just be really slow before things start to snowball. I would stay on it and try to keep building up those completed orders and reviews. Work on other things in the meantime but it's definitely a good additional tool to have!
@ugcbymollyg Haha I hear that happens a lot! I would say to make sure your profile looks as professional as possible to help attract legit clients. Also, really making a standout intro video and using solid seo words in your gig description.
@leonaugc1 Aw of course! It truly does just take a few ordered completed and solid reviews to get things moving. Nothing was happening for me for MONTHS when I first started and then it just snowballed after like 5 consecutive orders.
POV: You hired me to educate your audience, not just sell to them.
As a former TV news anchor and journalist, I love creating content that helps brands build credibility, simplify complex topics, and earn trust with their audience.
Hot take: Trends are fun but helping your audience truly understand why they need your product is just as important!
