In 2008, when we were both in 100L, his dad came back from Abuja and bought him a laptop—and to my surprise, he got me the exact same one too, my first ever!
10 years as a Medical Doctor in Nigeria.
This is what I could afford.
On this particular day some young boys in a Lexus were laughing at me with my tie under the hot sun of Abeokuta.
There was no way on earth my salary and side hustle could get me another car.
We really need to fix Nigeria for Nigerians not just for a few.
Me and my guys recreated our induction picture that we took in 2015, that’s 11 years ago! Wow! We thank God!
Boys to men! 🤣🤣🤣
If you laugh, I’ll block you.
Since my organization @quintahealth started in 2017 I have had more than 10 of my volunteers inducted into the medical practice and one of them became a Senior registrar in public health. Two others are in the UK and the US pursuing training.
As I type this I’m excited that another of my volunteer is now a doctor! 🕺🏾
My heart is filled with joy and I’m excited that I have mentees that are flying high!
Congratulations Dr Chinaza MB;BS Ilorin
I was the medical consultant on the first Yoruba movie in Nigeria to raise awareness about HPV.

@don_pet@MrMekzy_ Quite true. Although according to NICE, sensitivity of DRE for prostate cancer isn’t so great especially when the PSA isn’t raised.
Also a gland that feels normal on palpation doesn’t also exclude a cancer (same as a raised PSA does not always definitely mean a cancer)
