No one starts in any danger. Safety is the default. The first blue press is the catalyst for danger. It turns on the machine.

You are not on the train tracks, its not a limited seat life boat scenario, all you have to do is not jump in front of the train.

You think everyone is on the tracks and reds selfishly leaving kills whoever is left. But in reality no one is on the tracks and pushing blue gets you on the tracks which is suicide unless 50% do it.
