BREAKING: SpaceX and 4iG sign a first-of-its-kind European partnership to expand @Starlink Mobile across four countries.
The agreements were signed in Bastrop, Texas, by 4iG CEO Gellért Jászai and SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell.
• Starlink Mobile will first launch in Hungary and Albania with apps and messaging, connecting people in remote areas
• It connects directly to LTE-compatible phones without dedicated satellite equipment
• Next-generation Starlink Mobile V2 will expand to Montenegro and North Macedonia, delivering high-speed broadband directly to phones
• It will keep customers, public services and critical infrastructure connected during emergencies and terrestrial network outages
• SpaceX and 4iG will also introduce Sovereign Solutions for secure government and national-security communications
Jászai called it a “historic partnership,” while Shotwell said it will deliver “resilient direct-to-device connectivity” across Hungary and the Western Balkans.
Starship is going to radically transform Starlink
A single Starship launch is designed to deploy up to 60 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites at once, adding more than 60 Tbps of downlink capacity to the network
That is more than 20× the capacity added by a current Falcon 9 Starlink launch
Each V3 satellite is designed for 1,024 Gbps of downlink capacity... over 10× a V2 satellite
Falcon 9 built Starlink into the largest satellite constellation ever created
Starship takes that network to an entirely different scale
• More capacity per launch
• Faster capacity deployment
• Multi-gigabit Starlink speeds
• Massive capacity growth around the world
• Far more network infrastructure deployed with every mission
This goes far beyond simply launching more satellites
Starship gives SpaceX the ability to deploy internet infrastructure in orbit at industrial scale
Flight 13 already completed the first V3 deployment test
And Flight 14 is going to push that transition even further
Landing an orbital-class rocket was once considered almost impossible.
SpaceX has now done it 650 times
First landing: December 21, 2015
650th landing: August 15, 2026
SpaceX’s orbital AI satellite revenue is going to one day dwarf every business it has today... I repeat, I believe this is a future $100 trillion company trading at $1.4 trillion today. If I was a betting man, I'd be BTFD.
Elon and the SpaceX team are aiming to launch 1 MILLION AI satellites into space and when this happens… this company is going to look dirt cheap at $2 trillion.
Any company serious about AI will be relying heavily on SpaceX for compute.
Mark my words.
