Funniest thing from the game. Arsenal got a corner kick. They were taking their usual 15 minutes to crowd the goalkeeper. The referee said that’s enough and blew the half time whistle.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Arsenal have been blocking the opponent’s goalkeeper all season long, they would NEVER be on top of the league if we disallow these goals!”
Peter Schmeichel thank you for calling them out. have your cheating title VARSENAL. 👏
Here's the perfect example. This ultimately won Arsenal three huge points on the opening weekend of the Premier League. From start to finish of the season, there is a confusing lack of consistency in how the game is officiated. Rules aren't this flexible.
— No red card all season
— No penalty given against them all season (only team to have that luxury)
This is one of the most physical teams in the league BTW
If Arsenal win this game & ultimately this title because VAR rule out a goal due to a physical corner routine, that is one of the most ironic things in sporting history.
Feb 1, 2026: Man City star Rodri accuses the referee of not being neutral.
"I know we won too much and the people don't want us to win, but the referee has to be neutral. It's not fair because we work so hard. When everything is finished, you are frustrated."
He was fined £80k and FA panel “unanimously” agreed he hadn’t met threshold for a “sporting sanction”
March 20, 2026: Harry Maguire gives away a penalty and is sent off. Later claimed he called officials a “fucking joke” as he went off.
Maguire and United disputed fourth official’s claim. FA sided with officials and hand an extra one-game suspension to #mufc defender
Right…
