Do you have a tap in your #classroom? Saving water during restrictions is as simple as placing a bucket in the sink and using this water in your #schoolgarden. Doing this promotes water wise behaviour to your students and gives them ideas on how to save water at home. #UoNTeach

With access to a school garden comes with more options in the classroom. Lessons of all KLA's can be created to utilise this resource. A maths lesson can focus on how many plants can fit in our plant bed if they all require different spacing, all whilst being hands on. #UoNTeach
The Australian Government reported that in 2016-2017 Australians generated 67 million tonnes of waste, with ~10% being organic waste.
Often this organic waste can be composted for gardens, or larger pieces of organic waste for example trees can be used for wood chips. #UoNTeach
