Michigan's poor offense squanders stellar defense in 13-6 loss to Indiana - TMI Postgame Recap https://t.co/lwtCGXqZGx

Whittimgham on the 3rd & 1 red zone naked call that resulted in a sack: "Everything falls on my shoulders as the head coach, but that was not a good call. ... That's one Jason wishes he had back"

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Great game by the Michigan defense. Offense --- we've been saying that there are multiple issues with it -- not just quarterback play. I'll say it again -- quarterback play has been "A" problem, not "THE" problem. They need a lot of work. A LOT of work.

Everybody covered again... @TommyCarr03 improv coverts againg

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Nobody has been open TWICE on 3rd down this drive... and Michigan was saved by GREAT improv by @TommyCarr03 for huge conversions

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Thank the football gods for the Michigan defense. They keep giving this team a chance.

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Hate to ask the defense for more, but they need to score

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

.@CoachJayHill is calling a GREAT f'ing game! Dialing up blitzes at the right time. And the players keep answering the bell

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

This defense has been lights out!

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Everybody covered on 3rd down again

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

ZEKE ! BERRY! Hell yeah, @BerryZeke!! Defense, especially the corners, are playing their ASSESS off!!

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Lost in that empty end to what had been a positive drive is what looks like a meaningful halftime offensive adjustment -- more play-action

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Naked... tried to fool the defense, and didn't. That's on the play call, not the QB or the blocking.

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

.@J_MARSH2024 saved their bacon on that one. Got that first down HIMSELF!

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Another positive play-action pass

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

Naked away from the nub side. Another good play-action play.

[Sam Webb @SamWebb77]

THANK YOU! Early down play action attacking the middle of the field

Rhino = feast or famine. 3 five yard gains on the first drive. Then contributed to killing two others. Tommy obviously can't force the pitch on the speed option, but it looked like the Rhino blocked the wrong guy. And If he blocked the right guy, he was beaten badly to the outside...
