Some of our Year 11s took over Geography this afternoon independently to complete their own revision. Their dedication is amazing. We may need some more whiteboard markers! 📚🌍📝 #learningtodayatswa
Y10 today returned from their mock exam revision to Distinctive Landscapes and Rivers, looking at the long profile, processes, characteristics and landforms created. Excellent 45 minute knowledge organiser 🏞🪨🌍 #learningtodayatswa
Summer GCSE and A Level exam season is fast approaching! Our Y11 and 13 geographers have been incredibly determined, we’re extremely proud of their work. Keep using our YouTube Knowledge videos for your revision! #ocr#edexcel#gcse#alevel#geography https://t.co/UADozL8C6w
Fantastic Geography Easter School this year from our Year 11 Geographers all week and Year 13 this afternoon. Exploring Paper 3 with Geographical Skills and Synopticity across the curriculum. Happy Easter everyone! #learningtodayatSWA
Year 12 and 13 Geographers experienced a fantastic university style lecture today from Dr Benn Nutt of the International Relations department @UniofHerts. Dr Nutt’s lecture reflected on the Russia/Ukraine warfare and made clear links to A Level Globalisation and Superpowers.
Some really interesting NEA projects being done by students from @SamWhitGeog. The role afforestation will have in climate change mitigation and offsetting. #carboncycle#geographyteacher@ForestryComm@COP26
