The Bengals won the 3rd ever meeting between the Bengals and Chiefs 9/28/1969 in Cincy. Greg Cook hit Eric Crabtree for a long TD before getting injured. Insert future Super Bowl head coach Sam Wyche who hit Bob Trumpy for an 80 yarder. Bengals won 19-24.
Football Playbook, the ultimate NFL pre-game show created by Scott Woolley's Five Star Productions & CBS SportsLine. Hosted by Marv Levy, Sam Wyche, and Scott Kaplan, it was a must-watch for football fans. Aired Sundays before NFL games. #FootballPlaybook#FiveStarProductions
December 2, 1984: Great Pass, Better Uniforms 🏈

@bengaljims_BTR Brooks was a stud. I believe that was one of the worst beatings the Cowboys had had to that date. Sam Wyche was a damn good coach. Cincinnati blew it with him.

From famous NFL Coach Sam Wyche:
W/ the new generation of releases/routes (rocker step) a simple tell whether it’s a fake or committable action. Understand the difference & never be fooled by this instagram move
Also, the time I pretended to be a 🏈 player for TV
@moose196850@SamWycheNews We put a super fun beating on the Steelers at our house that year. In particular I remember a HB draw that sent brooks to the house right up the middle like 50 yards!!! Super fun team and season
Little fun fact. The 1988 SB was my favorite Bengals SB. We were introduced to the “Sugar Huddle” by the legendary Sam Wyche, today its the No Huddle. We beat the Bills in the AFC Championship and they cried foul and said it was illegal. NFL agreed. After a fight, it was allowed. 🐅
