That’s actually not a bad idea, you will have young players who legitimately would be a 2nd round playoff team enduring scars, young, and by the time JB's contract is up, your younger players should be far enough along to compete on their own
Got nothing to do with people thinking he’s washed or a bad player.
But our best players are 22 and under. They won’t be ready to compete for a few years.
By then, JB is into his 30s and what are we doing there? I think it’s just an awkward fit, not that he’s a bad player.
@Callystarr@ArtTakesNote@brandon_nwokeji The thing is, JJJ has never on any level (College or NBA) been required to rebound. You guys are backing on an NBA player coming in year 9 to automatically double a stat line out of nowhere which is unheard of.
Kind of the point and true. Memphis mainly gets a bad rep because of the demographics and the media. Nobody in Frayser has a reason to touch you if you're minding your business.

HEARTBREAKING: #NFL HCs and GMs LAUGHED AT Darren Sproles when he measured in at the combine and was only 5-foot-6 and weighed in at 170 pounds.
Sproles called his dad: “They laughed at me”
His Dad replied: “You know what to do”
Sproles became a legend.
