@danreilly Better for the actual development of the prospects to not have them worried about showcasing on ice, when they should be taking the entirety of the off-season for off ice development (strength and conditioning). This is the trend among many teams in the league.
@StevenBibas@Ferrario101ESPN Need a RHD so Rudolph makes sense, but Hemming/Belchetz (I like Hemming more) and then Viggo falling because he’s little would be a nice start to the draft.
Viggo seems big time boom or bust and likely moves to wing, but he could be a star. Just need some beef to play with him
@MichaelRTR000@Josh_B23@twelcher15 He was under contract in Europe when drafted and prior to signing with CHL team, therefore the under-20 restriction didn’t apply.
@irocz11@stlanalytics I went to game 4 and watched Thomas closely. He’s hurt. Gotta be. He kept leaving the ice first on his lines shifts, a bit more wary of the board battles, hasn’t looked as good at the dot.
@jprutherford If the 4th is earlier than the 2nd then it’s a wash. Our 2nd in 2027 will be closer to an early 3rd if everything goes to plan and Anaheim’s 4th is like a late 3rd at their current spot in the standings.
@TwoGuysOneCup If the 4th is earlier than the 2nd then it’s a wash. Our 2nd in 2027 will be closer to an early 3rd if everything goes to plan and Anaheim’s 4th is like a late 3rd at their current spot in the standings.
@TwoGuysOneCup I’d say you make the best of this for the long term. We’ve looked positive, but without Thomas for awhile this team is not a playoff team. That’s fine. Let the young guys play, get some assets at the deadline, and get one more high value draft pick before next year. #stlblues
