Was at Barnet hospital TIA clinic yesterday with my 92 yr old dad. In under 3 hours, he had a carotid Doppler, CT head, ECG, blood tests, consultant review with Dr Qureshi and appropriate medication. Plan in place for follow up. Very very impressive @RoyalFreeNHS @barnet_ptexp

@Lisa_Newington @brightchicky @tootstweetsuk @fionamsandford Yes indeed @Lisa_Newington, this fits well with our pathway at St Thomas’s, as the MRI is done on presentation to A&E, and those with negative findings are discharged with a removable splint. >50% of our patients had no significant injuries so this also saves time and money.
