@JustinWGrote @royalnull That could also be said of data points like location. To you point, I wouldn't just use the name when querying or reporting. But these short codes give an instant pointer about the resource. It's a VM, in Prod, in EUWest for app X. For alerts, wouldn't need to open the portal.
