Let’s stop pretending this has ever been complicated. Catherine isn’t just “a popular royal woman.” She is the mother of a future king. That makes her the monarchy’s central human asset. That’s not PR. That’s the constitution. And yet for nearly eight years she’s been treated as disposable so a louder, more profitable story could be sold. The original lie was equivalence. Two women. Two futures. A rivalry. There never was. Constitutionally, Meghan isn’t like Fergie - she is Fergie. Married to the spare. Outside the line. Structurally peripheral. That’s not cruelty, it’s how monarchy works. The cruelty was pretending otherwise - because that fantasy required Catherine to be undermined. Meghan was never Diana. Diana mattered because she carried the future of the Crown. Harry, however, has increasingly been encouraged to be Diana - traumatised, endangered, convinced everyone is out to get him. Meghan has played the Bashir role: validating fear, feeding grievance, shaping a story that isolates him while flattering his wounds. They didn’t even hide it. Endgame. A game. Catherine is the casualty of that game - precisely because she couldn’t fight back without damaging the institution she was trying to protect. Oprah was sold as vulnerability. In hindsight, it reads as leverage. “It would be too damaging to their reputation” wasn’t concern - it was a threat. Catherine will have known that. William too. The public caught up later. And here’s the part the media still won’t say out loud: if we take Harry and Meghan’s own logic seriously - that sustained stress, public vilification and psychological pressure cause real harm - then William would be entirely within his rights to ask whether the years-long campaign against his wife contributed to her illness. Whether science can draw a straight line isn’t the point. The pressure was real. The duration was extreme. The risk was obvious. Harry’s trauma is real. That’s exactly why this is so disturbing. He hasn’t been helped to integrate it - he’s been encouraged to perform it, monetise it, and build an identity around it. Diana is the template. Harry is the one living it. Meghan isn’t the wounded figure here. She’s the narrator. The interpreter. The Bashir. And the press? You’ve known for years that the Meghan narrative was a lie. Not misunderstood. Not exaggerated. A lie. She was never a passive victim. She was an active player from the start.
Catherine, meanwhile, absorbed it all in silence - smiling, enduring, and carrying the future of the monarchy while others played games with trauma, reputations and power. That isn’t weakness. It’s restraint. And it’s long past time it was named as such.
@LadyIngrid_123@CamillaTominey Ms. Tominey sold her morals and values for a dollar. Money helps you in everything you need in your life BUT your morals and values will take you places that only dignified people belong and she is not one of them. She is as trash as those 2 sorry Montecito grifters.
Honestly, the absolute crap this man has endured all his life, dysfunctional parents who consistently placed their own agendas above his mental health.
A brother who dragged him through the dirt in interviews, documentaries and books, with not one care about his mental health.
A wife diagnosed with cancer, with horrific rumours being spread about her then and now, with not on care about his mental health.
And the trauma of walking behind his mother’s coffin and the enduring trauma of that, and once again, not one care about this man’s mental health.
We hope Prince William knows that the public can see through what the King and the wayward Prince is doing. We hope he knows the public stands with him, and unlike some commentators - we don’t forget the abuse William has suffered from the people who were supposed to love and protect him.
God, at least Princess Catherine, the late Queen and, despite mistakes, Diana had her son’s back.
@CamillaTominey Ok @CamillaTominey, if this is your son talking crap about deep information about your family (let’s say he told his classmate and his classmate told everyone) are you going to say the same thing??? Let me know if your humble heart will not turn into a heart of stone…i’ll wait
@sage1411 The @DailyMail is so obvious, they are worried that once William sits on the throne, he will not play any of their games. That’s why they want Harry because they make more money dealing with an idiot. Harry and his wife will do anything for a buck. Meghan is good at it!
@according2_taz So meaning they want the Prince and Princess of Wales to act dumb like Harry so they have something to write about. They are there to work and represent, they are not there to satisfy your topic of the day. Ya’ll are as brainless as Harry.
@cyborg_sarah113@BuzziRobyn@MeghansMole And greasy on top of that…i really want to grab her and wash her hair everytime she shows up…she was clean looking (most of the time) when she was with the RF and as i remember when she was on Suits too.
@richardaeden@charlotteEaLMoS And you’re proud of that??? You and the rest of the journalist working for Daily Mail have no morals. You are all adults and probably have children. I hope to God that this situation will not happen to you, no man on earth who has morals and values will entertain this craziness!
Prince William comforts a grieving mother, affirming that her support for her children is exceptional and, with her love, they will be alright. ❤️ He truly embodies compassion, emotional stability, and genuine kindness.

Look, Meghan can dress her kids however she wants. Of course she can. But can someone explain to me how we’ve gone from her rolling her eyes at British heritage - tradition! etiquette! the horror! - like it was a moth-eaten tea cosy, to now dressing her children like they’re straight off the pages of a Buckingham Palace press release?
Because this is the same woman who landed in the UK like a breeze off the Pacific, telling us we were all crusty and colonial and she was here to modernise the monarchy by giving her son a Marvel sidekick name and popping him in flip-flops for a Christmas card. It was supposed to be a moment, I think. A Diana homage via denim. The problem? We already have jeans here, Meghan. We’ve had them since, oh, the 1950s. You weren’t breaking the wheel - you were dressing like half of Surrey on a Waitrose run.
And now she’s out in California with two fully American kids… trussed up in floral British frocks and church tights like they’ve just wandered out of a Beatrix Potter reboot. Stiff little collars and heritage coats for Easter services they don’t even attend in the UK. And it’s like - wait. Are you admitting it? That maybe British tradition wasn’t so dusty after all? That maybe Catherine didn’t cling to formality because she lacked imagination or independence, but because she actually understood the game? Knew the value of giving children something rooted - something that isn’t going to vanish with the next TikTok trend?
Because jeans and comic-book names aren’t revolutionary anymore. This isn’t 1993 and you’re not on a beach with Diana in a Northwestern sweatshirt. Charlotte wears jeans too—after church. And maybe, just maybe, Archibald or Arthur would’ve given your son more than just a glossy origin story for a Netflix pitch. Maybe it would’ve given him - not you - more gravity, more confidence. A spine of heritage. A sense of place.
What’s sad isn’t that she chose to do things differently. What’s sad is that, given the rarest, most magical opportunity - to give her children roots and wings - she chose to cosplay the very thing she could have lived for real. And she swapped cousins and castles and corgis for photo ops and press releases. The radical choice, in the end, would’ve been tradition.
Princess Catherine remembering the days she worked as a waitress while she was at the University. Were you good? aks Mary Berry. "I was terrible" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our incredible daughter Liz died in the early hours of this morning. She remained determined to the last. Even yesterday she was still making plans. We are so very proud of the kindness, empathy and courage she has shown in the last year. She was not only a phenomenal photographer, she was the best human, and the most wonderful daughter and big sister we could ever have asked for. No one could have fought harder for life than she did. There is a gaping Liz shaped hole in our lives that I am not sure how we will ever fill. We have so much gratitude to every single one of you, whether you offered to help, or liked or shared posts - you ensured Liz’s last two months were her very best. She flew high until the end.
We have two last favours to ask. Firstly, we would like to ask you to share one of her photos - on your social media, or in real life, however you can. Let’s let her go out with a bang. #LizHatton (photos will follow in a thread but do also feel free to choose your own from @lizhatton_photography on Instagram)
Secondly, if you can we would like you to help us with a mission to raise money to fund research into Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour. With no charity in the UK or internationally funding into effective treatments are lacking. In 2024 a 15% 5 year survival rate is simply not enough. Together we can change that. Whether you can share, donate or raise funds - please be our village one more time. Let’s make this the last item on her bucket list and make sure other families don’t face a similar fate: https://t.co/iSsJO83LLs
