@mlduncan7 I think romance is typically around 70k words. I’m not big on cutting things in half because of the beginning/end and all the dynamics. If it’s something you’ve just finished I’d shelf it for a few months. Start another book. Come back with fresh eyes. It’ll be easier to edit.
