Hi everyone. Reactivating twitter to share this
I was denied entry, detained, and deported from the USA at the end of last week because of my reporting on the Columbia student protests
I arrived back in Melbourne on Sat 6am and had my phone handed back to me upon landing
Every survey question should include after all the normal options...

@dodecahedra So for a circle, we have that construction 2 is a perfectly good way of constructing the polar of a point. Since on arbitrary conic sections, it's really hard to draw tangent lines, construction 2 is preferred over 1 and 3.
@dodecahedra Coxeter shows that constructions 1 and 3 are equivalent in the last sentence of theorem 6.12 (p 136).
Then, to show that 3 and 2 are equivalent, Coxeter uses figure 3.8b and the discussion that follows it (p 76). He briefly explains how this works at the bottom of page 145.

Not in the transcript, which only transcribes the Israeli part, but 5:30 in they reveal that Israel has abducted over 3,000 Palestinians in order to have more people to trade with Hamas. This is the first time I've seen this covered in western media.
