I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit.
My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently.
So, here goes.
you: "i need to journal my feelings"
"today i felt FOMO..."
"i was scared on this trade..."
"i need to work on my psychology..."
you're not a trader
you're a 12-year-old girl writing in her diary
and you're broke
losers journal feelings
winners track math
let me explain:
your "journal" is a cope
it's a 500-word essay about why you're a pussy
it doesn't fix you
it reinforces your weakness
my journal:
"risked 1%. made 3%. math correct."
"risked 1%. lost 1%. math correct."
i don't give a fuck why i lost
i care if i lost the RIGHT amount
you're analyzing "psychology"
i'm analyzing math
you're being a therapist
i'm being a risk manager
every minute you spend "journaling your feelings" is a minute you're not executing your edge
stop writing your diary
stop being a therapist
start tracking your R:R
or keep writing your "feelings" and stay broke
your choice
the market doesn't care about your emotions
it cares about your math
