Kiambaa MP was live on Inooro TV this evening and honestly, the entire interview left me completely shocked! I’m not even sure when I’ll recover from what I heard.
Apparently, there was an event planner from Mt. Kenya who had served under President Kibaki for a full term, then under Uhuru Kenyatta for another full term. His contract even extended to President Ruto’s administration. This man had employed over 1,000 people from the Mt. Kenya region.
But on the eve of the swearing-in ceremony, everything changed dramatically. As he supervised the setup of tents and décor, Gachagua stormed in late at night wearing a black coat and angrily shouted, “Nyinyi watu wa Azimio, kwendeni!” before chasing him and his entire team away.
Just like that, he lost the contract.
When he later tried to reconcile with Gachagua to have his contract renewed and his pending bills worth hundreds of millions paid, things got worse. What followed was a series of con games: first, he was asked to pay millions just “to see mzee,” then more tens of millions “to have the file looked at.” Eventually, he even delivered hundreds of well-fed dairy cows to Gachagua’s home, built modern cowsheds, and installed state-of-the-art milk coolers and machines, all in vain.
In the end, Gachagua instructed his security to bar the man from his home. A few months later, the man was auctioned and shockingly, Gachagua was the first person to buy his tents and sound systems.
Over 1,000 sons and daughters of Mt. Kenya lost their jobs, and a once-successful businessman was reduced to poverty.
And today, that same man dares to tell those he rendered jobless and the businessman he ruined to wait for his political direction?
More leaders should come forward and share their experiences under Wamunyoro the daylight thug
@_kahayadrive It's a pathetic service to be honest and they won't stop sending spammy emails asking to help build your website. I don't get why they can't sort it out. You're better off with an international hosting platform.
@ElayneOkaya Just saw this. Honestly, I don't have any knowledge of dependable hosting options locally. I cut my losses with international hosting providers
Anyone uses Truehost in Kenya?
Before you buy your .ke domain through them, just know you'll have to put up with one of the slowest support teams you've ever dealt with.
Not to mention this company lost data back in 2017 and led to a loss of a website I had really worked on.
@Very_Maureen Perfect. Oh yes, they're drought resistant. How long do they take to grow in your area? I see they take soo long to grow in Nyandarua where I come from.
Hiyo documentary ya NTV #ET302CONpensation reveals that hawa politicians wako class yao na sisi tuko class yetu. Who would have thought Murang'a governor Irungu Kang'ata would be implicated this way.
Kenyans, help me understand something. When President Ruto says he's bought an extra 6,000 acres in Kedong' for the locals, from who was it bought? I'm not trolling but I need help getting this whole buying thing.
Sometimes I wonder where we went wrong as a nation. The world is gearing for an economic reset and someone elsewhere is on the road, launching sewerage systems for his countrymen. #disgruntledKenyan
Dear @KhalifKairo I sympathize with you.
One way or another, there's a fiddler somewhere playing the music and KOX is dancing.
It's unfortunate that Kairo is being set as an example.
Whether there's truth or not, I see "car industry cartel" written all over this situation.
