Dear #SecretSantaNZ2022,
I like baking, chocolate, bold earrings, supporting local artists, @GoodBitchesBake, and @aunties_the
I'd also love to learn what your favourite book and/or movie is
@gregmoir0 @LI_politico@chrisluxonmp Many would argue that getting to vote in multiple jurisdictions, including districts in which you don't live, violates the fairness we expect in elections. It also calls into question who local councils serve, those who actually live there or those who own local property
@whomewhy123@LI_politico@chrisluxonmp It's called the ratepayer roll, if you own a property in an area separate from where you live, you can vote in both local elections. Many dont realize that one person, one vote isnt actually the case here. You can learn more about it here:

@five15design I hope the surgery has helped!
They need to separate the legitimate absences from the unexplained. Term one 2022, our roll was around 30% with everyone else working from home to avoid covid. Are our memories really that bad? Must be all the brain fog from covid π«€
Here's a thread of prominent New Zealand women who have publicly shown their support for our trans community π§΅
1. Folk singing comedy & activist duo Jools and Lynda Topp aka The Topp Twins.
@five15design Makes me miss they days of politicians sticking with "thought and prayers" after a school shooting
Just so much wrong, I don't even know where to begin unpacking
Got to spend the week with the best group of year 5/6s on camp. Still can't believe this is part of the curriculum. How stunning is AoNZ! https://t.co/zBoscOaieC
@kateinthebay Different mechanism of action but L-theanine has a stress-reducing effect.
I find it helps me sleep by quieting the noise that happens when I try to "turn off"
@kateinthebay Story about it:
Husband went to pick up a bottle of them from health 2000 in Nelson and the salesperson said "ahh, the mummy pills." π¬π
