The reality is that any nation failing to draw upon its own internal strength ultimately harms both its citizens and itself.

Countries that enlist the help of others to further their interests do so because they possess leverage or share mutual goals. They maintain these alliances only as long as the arrangement serves their own benefit.

True diplomacy is never entirely selfless. If it were purely driven by moral considerations, such cases would not be so rare—and Palestine would not remain stateless.

Today, the global order appears to have surpassed the confines of international law. Major powers now act with little restraint, seizing and annexing territories as they please. Some justify their aggression as a means of securing vital resources like oil for their people, while others pursue territorial expansion simply because they have the power and desire to do so—feeding an insatiable hunger. Those with vast financial clout have thrown entire regions into turmoil to eliminate economic rivals, and when their adversaries are weakened, they fragment them into smaller states, trapping them in irreversible decline.

It grows ever more apparent that the world is inching toward a third world war, as divisions continue to deepen and reconciliation becomes increasingly unlikely.

Given these realities, I call on the current administration to fully commit to diplomacy rooted in mutual understanding, while steadfastly upholding our core values. Harnessing our national unity and approaching international relations through the lens of reciprocity is the wisest course of action. When we fortify our internal strength, our diplomatic influence grows all the more powerful.#Somalia
