INAUGURAL CEREMONY of the 15thAnnual Brajanath Sharma Memorial Inter-State Drama Festival
The 4-day long 15th Annual Brajanath Sharma Memorial Inter-State Drama Festival will be held from 12th to 15th September, 2024, at District Library Auditorium, Guwahati. Three groups from Jagiroad and Guwahati will take part in it to present four plays.
All are welcome.
#Samahar expresses deep condolence at the demise of Padma Shri awardee Birubala Rabha, a fighter against the witch hunting menace. A towering personality in the crusade against superstitious beliefs, the void created by her death in Assamese society will be difficult to fill in.

In second phase, we distributed full-sleeved woollen sweaters to all 133 poor students of LP & ME sections of Namati Vidyapith HS School in Nalbari, Assam.
Prior to this, we had donated sweaters to all 250 students of LP section of Katajhar HS School in Barpeta in Jan first week.
@manassarma @TrideepL Thank you sir for your support and contribution. We will launch the second drive within this week.
We thought to distribute around 100 woollens to needy Lower Primary students of Katajhar Higher Secondary School in Barpeta and appealed to public for support. We got very encouraging response and decided to donate sweaters to all the 250 students of the LP section of the school.

A wonderful news for our film #AeiMaatite. It's selected at the ongoing 14th International Guwahati Film Festival, organised by Gauhati Cine Club.
