GOOAAAALLLL⚽️

What a match! Marking #WorldRefugeeDay, humanitarian workers & refugees faced off on the football pitch in the Rohingya camps for an exciting, slightly rain-soaked showdown.

Some well-placed goals later, the refugee team ran away with a brilliant 2-0 victory!👏

Do you know why the UN House in Bangladesh is lit up in blue tonight?

Every 20 June, on World Refugee Day, we stand in solidarity with 1.2 million Rohingya refugees who are counting on the world to act.

A powerful reminder: every young person deserves a future filled with hope.💙

Safety shouldn’t cost a life.

Yet, 2025 was the deadliest year yet for maritime movements of Rohingya refugees.
Because many feel like they have no choice but to risk everything for a better life.

Imagine raising your family in a shelter that can flood during monsoon, collapse in a cyclone, or burn down within hours.

It's a reality for many Rohingya refugees.

This is why we're building temporary safer shelters while protecting the surrounding environment.

ICRC president: War on essential infrastructure is war on civilians.
The consequences of damage to civilian infrastructure have effects far beyond the attack itself - on food, water and healthcare. Ultimately, civilians pay the price.

On Bhasan Char, I saw trees cut within weeks driven by Liquefied Petroleum Gas shortages that leave refugee families without safe cooking options. Reliable access to clean cooking fuel is essential to protect lives and surroundings. Urgent LPG support is needed now. 🌳
