A woman was stripped and assaulted during a clash between two groups in Krishna Babu Colony of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the police, the incident stemmed from a dispute over a residential borewell, which escalated into a physical altercation. During the clash, a group of transgender persons who had reportedly come in support of one faction stripped and assaulted a woman from the rival group.

Police said the accused have been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
