A two member @IndiaCoastGuard delegation, led by Director General Paramesh Sivamani, AVSM, PTM, TM, #DGICG, is participating in the 4th Coast Guard Global Summit #CGGS being held at #Rome, #Italy from 11–12 Sep 25, alongside delegations from 115 countries. Keynote addresses by Prime Minister of #Italy, H.E. Giorgia Meloni, and virtually by Prime Minister of #Japan, H.E. Shigeru Ishiba highlighted the importance of collaboration in Marine Pollution Response, Maritime Search and Rescue and Maritime Law Enforcement. Summit focused on maritime safety, marine environmental protection, and combating transnational maritime crimes. #ICG delivered a keynote titled “Guardians Against the Blaze”, showcasing #ICG’s tactical expertise in fire emergency response. Co-chaired by #Italy and #Japan, #CGGS continues to foster global Coast Guard cooperation. #ICG also announced its bid to host the 5th #CGGS in #India in 2027, reaffirming its commitment to global maritime leadership.
