1/ This week, The Samburu Professionals Asociation started door to door distribution of essential items to the most vulnerable people in Samburu County in the fight against COVID-19. The SPA team has so far distributed hand sanitizers, liquid soap, washing facilities, and masks.

4/ Another team will cover the most critical areas of Samburu West this week. There is still a lot to be done esp in ensuring our people at the village get info on how to protect themselves in simple things such as observing social distancing, hand washing, and face masks.

1/1 Suspected Turkana cattle rustlers shot and injured a young Samburu herds-boy looking after his cows In the Marti area of Samburu North. The boy has been transferred to Maralal referral hospital.

1/2 A few weeks ago, bandits from the same community shot dead a senior police officer and seriously injured two other officers while they were leading a team to pursue cattle rustlers who had stolen 50 herds of cattle at Suyian area of Samburu North!
