A cyber crime awareness program was organized for the #TGSRTC Bus Bhavan staff on 04-10-2024 by the Cyber Crimes Unit of the Hyderabad City Police. They created awareness by playing audiovisual clips and explaining how to protect oneself from becoming a victim of cybercrimes.

The cybercrime team of officers, Sri. Mattam Raju, Ms. Pakeeza, Sri. Srikanth Naik, and Ms. Dharani, instructed the staff to utilize the services of the toll-free number 1930 immediately to report cybercrimes and to disconnect phone calls from fraudsters and report those numbers.

Smt. Ushadevi, Chief Personnel Manager, TGSRTC, and Smt. Sameera Afreen, Dy. CTM (IT), TGSRTC, coordinated the program.

The Bus Bhavan staff was given awareness about different kinds of cybercrimes and frauds involving loan apps, phone calls, social media, etc., and their doubts were cleared by interacting with them.

The officers also shared the cybercrime unit's social media platforms to follow for day-to-day updates.
