@XephiroX@Dexerto Tips aren't usually *mandatory.* Generally, though, the rest of the world bundles what Americans consider gratuity into the bill by default one way or another.
By making it "expected, not mandatory" it allows the customer to not pay for service they feel was not worth reward.
@Dennis_Pulido@gorrillavision@MicahNieman Her name is エアリス, Earisu when Romanized. "ri" is the exact same as "li" in Japanese, leading to this mistranslation.
However, because it's in katakana, we know it's supposed to be based on a loan word. Closest match is アース, Earth. In which "su" becomes "th".
@canonicalchris I didn't like it when I played it on Wii primarily for being way too linear and dividing the world the way it did, but have since come to love it for what it does well, such as dungeon design and overall plotline. Even moreso after the series pivoted towards open world.
@Cal03333@DemonEmperorV Oh yeah, also.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds is £10 cheaper on Switch 1 due to being the worst version of the game. Steam's price is the norm, not the exception.
@evileboxyboo@crombula_ No, you don't own them. Steam itself tells you that the only thing they're selling you is a license. It doesn't matter if your license doesn't get revoked on delisting, it's still just a license.
@GoogleSnaky@Shredder1400 Unfortunately, no. The Pixel Remaster - for better or worse - is more faithful to the NES version. The Dawn of Souls remake is only available for the GBA, though later receiving an updated version on the PSP. The 3DS also has a version, but I think it was JP only?
@taquitoshithole@I_EAT_QUARTERS@Phil1UpCollects Ah yes, with Deku Momentum completely shot, Zora Swimming having significantly less flow, and extremely out-of-place eyeballs stuck on every boss for no good reason - nahhh. That's not even me bringing up the complete shift in artstyle. I could never play vanilla 3DS MM again.
@Lem_201_@ArikGenerick@GhidorahJoe It... It did. The word LARP comes from the activity "Live-Action Role Play." Groups of people used to get together all the time, dressed and equipped like fantasy characters, and have large scale roleplays in real life.
LARP has existed for a very, very long time.
@Cal03333@DemonEmperorV So if Valve is the lesser evil by your own admission, why are you making the active decision to terminate your account and get your games from what I can only conclude to be a *greater* evil? Surely it can't only be because of what's alleged in a lawsuit...
