Can you also focus on people who gave permission without doing safety checks and suspend them. In almost every such fire tragedy, the real enablers are the officials from MCD, fire department and local administration who approved or ignored illegal constructions. Just targeting the owner will not solve the problem.

Repeated paper leaks in NEET and other exams have destroyed the future of lakhs of students yet no minister or top official has faced real consequences till now.

The issue will stay alive only till the next issue comes up. All the committee and investigation is just drama. After every such fire or building collapse we see inquiries and compensation announcements but within a few weeks everything is forgotten and the same negligence continues in other places.

I never faced such issue in Apptronix or iPlanet. These kinds of forced sales of accessories and activation in store seem to be a problem only with certain resellers like Unicorn. Apple’s official policy does not force customers to buy accessories or activate the phone in the store.

This kind of incidents will happen only with government failure. When fire officers take bribes to give clearances and authorities ignore illegal constructions and basement restaurants, tragedies like this become common. Hundreds of such buildings in Delhi and other cities are operating without proper fire safety norms because of corruption and poor enforcement by government agencies.

Of course, there is nothing as big action in government. Removing someone as CBSE chairperson and immediately giving him the post of Agricultural Secretary is not punishment, it is just a transfer. This kind of musical chairs has been happening for years where officers involved in big failures are simply shifted to other important departments instead of being held accountable.

I think the biggest threat going forward is people who cannot distinguish between AI and real world content. This fake dubbed clip of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a clear example of how dangerous it has become. Such manipulated videos are spreading very fast and can easily damage the reputation of innocent people, especially young talents who have no control over it.

Nonsense! Who is America to allow what India should do. India is a sovereign country and will decide its own energy policy based on national interest. India has been buying Russian oil at discounted rates for years and this has helped keep fuel prices almost stable for common people despite global price increases.

Its just to grab news that they are doing something. Transferring the CBSE Chairman and Secretary after such a huge exam mess is too small an action. This scandal has affected lakhs of students and their future, and just moving officers from one post to another is not real accountability or justice.

@khushboo1313 Its still fast though, considering the rain. In Bangalore even 3 km can easily take 3-4 hours when it rains heavily because of waterlogging and poor drainage.
