Apparently Pete Wicks is facing criticism for saying ~ “I prefer dogs to most people. Dogs never let you down or gossip about you, give me a dog any day. At least dogs don't take offence when you say something they don't like! At least dogs aren't two faced, they either like you or they don't and they're usually a good judge of character.”
RT if you agree with him ~ I certainly do.
A recent study has shown that losing a pet can cause very deep feelings of sadness, just like losing a human friend or family member. Many people may think that the bond with a pet is not as important as with a person, but this research proves otherwise. Pets often become a big part of our lives, providing us with love, companionship, and joy.
When we lose a pet, we can experience a range of emotions similar to those we feel when we lose a human loved one. This can include feelings of sorrow, loneliness, and even anger. People may grieve for their pets for a long time, as they remember the special moments they shared together. The attachment we have to our pets can make the loss feel overwhelming, and it is essential to acknowledge these feelings.
The study highlights the importance of understanding how much pets mean to us. It encourages people to support others who are grieving a pet's loss, just as they would for someone who has lost a person. Recognizing the strong bond between humans and their pets can help us be more compassionate towards those who are hurting after losing their furry friends.
