I feel like yelling Angel Reese at a player that rebounded his own missed layup a bunch of times in a row is precisely what home crowds should be doing. It’s funny, it’s harmless, it’s not vulgar and (apparently) it cuts deep.
Every road crowd will be chanting that from now on.
@WhatsWrightShow@getnickwright@TheVolumeSports I didn’t say anything else besides Angel Reese. There was nothing more to it.
No profanity, no expletives, nothing personal. Just Angel Reese.
“Buddy, that was not over the line disrespect… I thought it was kind of witty by that guy.”
@getnickwright reacts to Draymond Green’s argument with a fan calling him “Angel Reese.”
@Samiam6490@DanielTWare@ClayTravis Man props on this, I have always wondered what I would say if I had floor seats to try and get in players heads while keeping everything PC so I wouldn't get kicked out.
Calling Draymond Angel Reese was brilliant, and clearly worked.
@ShamsCharania See now, that is a creative taunt right there, mainly because, like Angel Reese, Draymond Green is more known for his defensive prowess than his touch in the painted area. If you are Draymond, you still need to keep your composure here.
The NBA has issued a warning to Golden State's Draymond Green for his interaction with a vocal fan in New Orleans on Sunday night, source tells ESPN. No fine. The fan was chanting "Angel Reese" toward Green, who responded face-to-face as taunts continued.
Draymond Green confronted a fan who called him “Angel Reese” after Draymond missed several shots and got his own rebounds. Win for the fan. This is 100% fair game. Players have gotten so soft, it’s embarrassing.
