In July, 54 pastors and church leaders in Cameroon gathered to learn about and pray for their persecuted family in the country and in sub-Saharan Africa.
This short video shows the group worshipping God.
The event was inspired by a pastor who recognised that people need to wake up to the persecution facing Christians in their own country.

In a striking public expression of Marian devotion, Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella crowned a statue of the Virgin Mary in Bogotá’s Plaza de Bolívar during the “Prayer for Colombia” day.
During the ceremony, the First Lady also placed a rosary at the statue. The moment formed part of a national gathering of prayer and solidarity, with the country’s suffering, hopes and future entrusted to God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
