Configured EtherChannel in Packet Tracer first. Then took it to real hardware.
LACP for negotiation, multiple links bundled into one for more bandwidth and redundancy.
Same logic, different level of precision once it's real switches and real cables.

Ran a lab comparing RIP and OSPF today.
RIP: simple, hop count only.
OSPF: link state, picks paths by cost, way more scalable.
Also tightened up my DHCP config. Hit a failed ping mid-lab, traced it through the routing table to fix it.

Last week: handed a task with a few technologies I hadn't been taught yet.

Today: a fully working enterprise network.

3-layer hierarchy (Core/Distribution/Access), VLANs, RSTP, OSPF, DHCP, NAT.
OSPF nearly broke me. Tracing routing tables layer by layer is what made it click.

Built a small company network today in Packet Tracer. Finance, IT, Security, and HR, each on its own VLAN, spread across two switches, tied together through a router configured as a router on a stick.
