This is John Arum Azi initially; that guy that denied Jesus out of fear of death when he was kidnapped by bandits.

You guys remember him? He went viral some weeks ago while he was flogged by the bandits

When the Muslim terrorists asked about his faith, he told them he was a pagan, hoping they would release him. To his surprise, the jihadists replied that they preferred Christians to idol worshippers, leaving him confused and terrified.
As the beating began, John cried out "Jesus!" and confessed the truth-that he is a Christian. From that moment onward, the kidnappers started calling him "Pastor."

Here is what actually happened:

The kidnappers were the ones who contacted John first.
He believed it was a genuine job referral from someone.
They even sent him transport money. Upon arriving in Zaria, they directed him to a park where they met. The man confirmed he was the person John had been speaking with on the phone and said he needed John to do some work for him. John agreed.

Later, they claimed they were going somewhere by motorcycle and took him to another location. That was when another man arrived carrying a gun John had never seen before. Fear took over. They covered his face with a mask and transported him from Kaduna to Zamfara State, a journey that lasted about six hours.

Throughout the captivity, the kidnappers repeatedly asked John if he had influential connections in Jos. He told them the truth: he comes from a poor background and has no one to help him. He is the one who provides food for his family. When they demanded his father's phone number, John gave them his brother's number instead, since his father had already passed away.

The negotiation started at N30 million and was eventually brought down to #6 million. However, after the #6 million was raised and paid, the kidnappers changed the agreement and demanded an additional N4 million.

By the grace of God and the generous support of kindhearted people who contributed, the extra #4 million was raised and sent. John was eventually released.
